Allardyce knows exactly how to play against Arsenal, remember his record against them when he was in charge at Bolton? He got the team playing exactly how they needed to beat Arsenal yet again.
It smacks of desperation from Wenger after a dreadful end to the season. Ok his team play beautiful football but trophys are how success is measured and he knows that he must win one soon or risk losing his job.

Rovers fans were laughing at Wenger after this game – what a sore loser! When Arsenal went one up he thought they would go and win comfortably. But he was outfought by a far more resiolute side. And couldn`t handle the defeat. Big Sam plays on percentages – put enough balls in the box and some will end up in the net – especially with a timid goalkeeper like Fabianski which Rovers exploited very effectively.

Rovers are allowed to play how they want. It might not be pretty to watch, but it works and in the Prem that's all that counts. The difference in finishing in the top half can have a massive impact on a club. Wenger is once again trying to blame everyone else but its he who should take the blame, In January they needed a striker not a defender, but typical Wenger went the cheap way and brought back an old friend, and their league position reflects his negative attitude towards signings in general.

As Blackburn Rovers won another home game on bank holiday, their tactics were once again being questioned by what seems another jealous manager Arsene Wenger. For me Rovers were right to do what they did and how they did it, Arsenal have been poor from set pieces all season and as they endure another trophy less season Wenger will want to blame anybody but himself.
Rovers may not play pretty football, but when they have only lost three times at home all season then you can really only admire what Big Sam and co have done. Also it seems a bit of French irony coming from wenger who remained silent early in the season after William Gallas fouled a Bolton player on purpose to injury him and turn the game in Arsenals favour. what comes around goes around Mr Wenger.
