I actually think moving to the Bundesliga is a positive move for McClaren. They may not be in the champions league but there is more exposure for the wally with the brolly in some respects as and I don't thinke Twente would have progressed much in the champions league anyway. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw him back in England in a few years time.

he will be forever tarnished with the wolly with a brolly slant, but he is actually a solild manager who failied at international level.I am schocked by his deision to leave Twente esp for a side that isn't in the Champions League. I think he could return to england son, but it will only be for the money i think.

I'm surprised by his decision to go to a side that doesn't look like it will be getting in to Europe next season, I would have thought that he would have only left Twente for another side in the CL as it would be a great chance to test his mettle against some of the best coaches in the world.
I'm still not sure if he'll ever return to England, maybe he'll think he has unfinished business in this country after everything that happened or perhaps he'll think twice about managing in a country that made his life hell

Everybody remember that horrible night when a supposed wolly with a brolly, was at the helm of an an England side that had failed to qualify for Euro 2008. since then Steve McClaren has turned his career around and having just led FC Twente to the Dutch title, he has jumped ship to Germany to take charge of FC Wolfsburg. McClaren seems to have bounced back well since that dreadful night and with reputation back on the rise i wonder how long it will be until McClaren returns to England
