Tony Parkes wants Burnley to be playing Premiership football next season and if Blackburn don`t win on Sunday it wont matter to them in the long run. I`m glad he`s no longer the Rover`s boss – rivalry apart with £750,000 per league position on offer big Sam will be looking for a comprehensive win.

Does Gerrard have friends in high places? His elbowing of Pompey`s Michael Brown on Monday night seemed blatent yet no action was taken by the ref – he obviously didn`t see it properly in my view or he would have been sent off. So why haven`t the authorities intervened?

That`s true Burnley will be back to wearing their Holland`s steak & kidney PUDDINGS shirts next season.

Fergie is predicting the tightest finish in Premiership history, don`t know about that it was pretty close when Blackburn won the title – it hinged on United`s last game at Upton Park which they failed to win.

Unfortunately Blackburn Rovers reverted to type in their game at White Hart Lane, after signs of hope had emerged during their visit to Anfield.
Tottenham weren't great as a team, but they have so many players who can score – so it was only a matter of time.

We can blame the ref for not awarding the pen, or Robinson's injury, followed by Brown's error for the second goal, but to be honest the team looked poor.  No leadership, no skill, no fight and no chance.
I for one have had enough of Big Sam bemoaning the fact that things didn't go for the team.  One win away from home all season – that is taking the unfairness theory a bit far.  Sorry Sam but if anybody is to blame it is you.
It will be only after you improve that the team will improve.

Can`t see Rooney scoring with another header this w/e. Surely they will have him sussed by now.

Shearer never got that sort of space playing football for England & Newcastle.

Looking for to going to North End v Forest. Hoping we can get some revenge against the old enemy. However, hope insults off the pitch don't go too far.

This weekend is huge for the top three- United look strong and Arsenal should breeze past HUll. The spotlight is on Chelsea who will need a strong performance along with 3pts. This weekend could see Portsmouth's resolve finally broken as they are staring relegation in the face.

It could be but one of them could slip up. It only matters if PNE get three points on sat and we welcome back super Paul back.

Might be worth a treble on the top 3 on this w/e football fixed odds – slightly more than evens just checked on Sky Bet.

United are definitely going to repay the favour that fulham gave to them at Craven Cottage earlier this season. With Rooney in the form of his life and the Premier League title hanging in the balance, United are going to pull out all the stops to ensure that Chelsea have to fight for the #1 spot!

Come on you REDS!!!!! Wink

well this weekend really is a massive one at both ends of the Premier League table. Chelsea may think they will beat West Ham but a desperate team is a dangerous one and with Chelsea still not looking that good United could be sat atop the tree come Sunday night. The relegation battle is were the real action is though and with Burnley, Wolves and Hull all being in the mix it could be  huge weekend of FootballCool.

I'm looking forward to watching Hull V Arsenal on Saturday evening as you dont know what is going to happen, i doubt Hull will get anything but its the sort of game Arsenal have slipped up in before.
