Burnley have a good chance especially with the parachute payments. They had some good results early on – even beat man utd but lost their way when the rest of the prem sussed out the way they play – pushed them wide and neutralized their attack. Downhill all the way after that – they never learnt how to score scrappy goals especially from set-pieces. Very nieve really!

I very much doubt any of the three relegated clubs will finish in the top six let alone go straight back up. Unfortunately I think Portsmouth will 'do a Leeds' and go down to league one.(From that point on they will probably rebuild)
It is probably Burnley who will have the best chance but we'll see who they manage to keep hold of in their personell.

Of all three Burnley have been run within their means and probably won't lose the majority of their players. So I'd say that they have the best chance of going back up to the PL.
Pompey have no chance in my opinion. They are in very, very big trouble and I'd actually be surprised if they stay in the Championship. Their debt is that crippling. Hull are in trouble themselves and I see them struggling to keep their better players like Bullard.
It will be very interesting to see who is going to go up next season. My favourites would be either Cardiff, Forest (whoever stays down if one of them makes it) or Reading to challenge Burnley.

I doubt any of the three relegated clubs will bounce back up as the Championship is getting stronger. Also the gap between the lower half of the prem and the top half of the Championship is getting smaller as Championship clubs are becoming stronger. You only need to look at Birmingham and then you can see what a good team can do if you get it right

Normally when the Premier League clubs get relegated you feel at least one will come straight back up, but next season could be different. Pompey have no money, Burnley might not spend and just be happy with their good bank balance, Hull might have to deal with the D word. Is this season a look of things to come or is it a one off while the Premier League becomes stronger?
