The actual sport wont take off as its to similar to rugby, but a NFL team could be interesting to see how they would work it. They might be better spliting their schedule for the sake of timezones. Teams  do already cross time zones so ii  could be done myabe if the london team played the thursday night game or maybe introdue a friday night game, to give them and the visiting team the chance to recover.Smile

an NFL team could work but you only have to look at NFL europe it was a mess with poor crowds. NFL is becoming more popular but with all the stopages it simply wont work. Uni teams are on the increase sp it could work on that level, but as for a london team not a chance. Anyway NHL is the only American sport you should care about.Smile

Ok so superbowl xliv was absolutely incredible if you are into nfl. If you aren't then it would probably have been either the most boring night ever or a real eye opener.

With such a massive fan base building in the UK, its starting to become more recognised as a top sport but will it ever take off?

Im a man u fan because my family are and Ive been brought up that way. Been a saints fan for 4/5 years now, but its hard to pick a team in the states without any association. Does anyone think itll ever take off in the uk, or is it just going to be a niche market for weirdos like me?


Up the saints, won me £50 last night :D
